Product Overview
Evaluation kit for RA2L1 MCU group enables users to seamlessly evaluate the features of the RA2L1 MCU group and develop embedded systems applications using Flexible Software Package (FSP) and e2 studio IDE. The users can utilize rich on-board features along with their choice of popular ecosystems add-ons to bring their big ideas to life. It features R7FA2L1AB2DFP MCU (referred to as RA MCU) with 48MHz, Arm® Cortex®-M23 core, 256KB code flash, 32KB SRAM in 100 pins LQFP package. It has multiple clock sources (low-precision clocks are available internal to the RA MCU). Additionally, RA MCU oscillator and sub-clock oscillator crystals, 20.000MHz and 32,768Hz are provided for precision. The board feature three user LEDs (red, blue, green), power LED (white) indicating availability of regulated power, debug LED (yellow) indicating the debug connection, two user buttons and one reset button.

- MCU current measurement points for precision current consumption measurement
- Internal MCU DC-DC power option
- Two 5 V input sources (USB (debug), external power supply)
- Three debug modes (debug on-board (SWD), debug in (ETM, SWD, and JTAG), debug out (SWD))
- 2 seeed Grove® system (I2C/analogue) connector
- SparkFun® Qwiic® connector, 2 Digilent Pmod™ (SPI and UART) connectors
- Board dimension is 80mm (width) x 140mm (length)
- Arduino™(Uno R3) connector, MikroElektronika™ mikroBUS connector
- MCU boot configuration jumper
