Product Overview

MCP601-I/SN is a low-power, single-supply CMOS single operational amplifier. This op-amp utilizes an advanced CMOS technology that provides low bias current, high-speed operation, high open-loop gain, and rail-to-rail output swing. In addition, the common mode input voltage range goes 0.3V below ground, making this amplifier ideal for single-supply operation. This device is appropriate for low-power, battery operated circuits due to the low quiescent current, for A/D convert driver amplifiers because of their wide bandwidth or for anti-aliasing filters by virtue of their low input bias current. Typical applications include portable equipment, A/D converter driver, photodiode Pre-amp, analogue filters, data acquisition, notebooks and PDAs, and sensor interface.

  • Gain bandwidth product is 2.8MHz typ (TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7V to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • Quiescent current per amplifier is 230µA typ (IO = 0, TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7V to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • Power supply rejection is 88dB typ (TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7V to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • Common mode rejection ratio is 90dB typ (VDD = 5.0V, VCM = -0.3V to 3.8V, TA = +25°C)
  • Input offset voltage range from -2 to +2mV (TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7V to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • Supply voltage range from 2.7 to 6.0V (TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7V to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • Slew rate is 2.3V/µs typ (G = +1 V/V, TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7V to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • 4.5µs settling time (0.01%) typ (G = +1 V/V, 3.8V step, TA = +25°C, VDD = +2.7 to +5.5V, VSS = GND)
  • 8 pin SOIC package, industrial operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
