The MCP16301T-I/CHY is an adjustable output step down DC to DC regulator in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This highly integrated, high efficiency step down DC to DC converter includes high side switch, fixed frequency peak current mode control, internal compensation, peak current limit and overtemperature protection. Very less external components are necessary to develop complete step down DC to DC converter power supply. High converter efficiency is achieved by integrating current limit, low resistance, high speed N channel MOSFET and associated drive circuitry. High switching frequency minimizes the size of external filtering components resulting in small solution size. Output voltage is set with an external resistor divider.
- Automotive grade AEC-Q100 qualified
- 500KHz fixed frequency
- Up to 96% typical efficiency
- Input voltage range from 4V to 30V
- Output voltage range from 2V to 15V
- Output voltage accuracy of 2%
- Minimum 600mA output current over all input voltage range
- Peak current mode control
- Internal compensation and internal soft start
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
