Product Overview
The MLV E series SMD Ceramic Multilayer Varistor is a family of transient voltage suppressors. It provides transient overvoltage protection in automotive applications such as engine management, airbag, control units, electrohydraulic brake, ABS/ESP, sunroof, load-dump and jump-start.
- Reliable ESD protection up to 30kV according to IEC 61000-4-2, level 4 (8kV contact, 15kV air)
- High energy absorption capability
- Low leakage current
- Long-term ESD stability
- Bidirectional protection
- No temperature derating up to 150°C
- Nickel barrier suitable for lead-free soldering
- Qualification based on AEC-Q200
- PSpice simulation models available
