The B72220P3271K101 is a radial round leaded Metal-oxide Varistor with tinned copper wire terminals and epoxy resin coating. The voltage dependent characteristics enable varistor to protect against high transient voltage spikes. The varistor impedance changes to a low value clamping the transient to a safe level.
