EXPFD17A is a series E Ultra-Mag™ explosion-proof level switch for powder and bulk solids. This explosion-proof series of level switch for powder and bulk solids that utilize a unique magnetic linkage and diaphragm design to sense the presence of powder and bulk solids in a variety of bins, vessels, and hoppers. Magnetic linkage makes this simple explosion-proof diaphragm switch the most rugged and reliable level control for a variety of products. Typical applications include mining, food and beverage, silos and hoppers.
- Breathable fabric diaphragm-no venting
- Flanged, aluminium standard mounting orientation (side)
- Aluminium housing material
- Polyester nitex, white, 15 micron permeability (-30 to 275°F), (30 to 90 lb/ft³) diaphragm material
- Standard, SPDT, 15A @ 125, 250VAC
- Internal screw set point adjustment
- Sealed switch compartment and sealed leads yield the exceptionally reliable operation
- Extremely sensitive indication and very economical
- Explosion-proof (UL) Class I, Div I- II, Groups C, D; Class II, Div I and II, Groups E, F, and G GP
