Product Overview
Socket for DIL IC packages designed for fast in-field board maintenance. The latch acts as a locking device to prevent disconnection and is ideal for high vibration environments. When used as an ejector, the latch removes the DIL package without damage. Glass filled thermoplastic body UL recognised. Solder tail terminations are tin plated brass.
- 28 Position EJECT-A-DIP® DIP IC socket with solder tail pins for through-hole PCB installation
- Integrated latch locks devices securely in place, ideal for vibration-prone applications
- Built-in ejector mechanism enables fast IC removal without bent or damaged pins
- 6 Finger beryllium copper collet contacts provide reliable electrical connection and contact retention
- Gold-plated contacts with tin-plated body for excellent conductivity and durability
- Contact current rating of 3A and insulation resistance of 10,000MΩ at 500VDC
- Withstanding voltage rating of 1000V RMS
- Glass-filled UL94V-0 nylon body and latch provide a rugged, flame-retardant construction
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C for gold-plated contact versions
- 0.600" (15.24mm) row spacing with 0.100" (2.54mm) pin pitch, suitable for standard 28 Pin DIP packages
