LT1374CR-SYNC#PBF

LT1374CR-SYNC#PBF is a 500KHz monolithic buck-mode switching regulator. It features a 4.5A switch integrated on the die, along with all necessary oscillator, control, and logic circuitry. The high switching frequency allows for a considerable reduction in the size of external components. Its topology operates in current mode, ensuring fast transient response and good loop stability. Special high-speed bipolar process and innovative design techniques achieve high efficiency at the high switching frequency. Efficiency is maintained over a wide output current range by utilizing the output to bias the circuitry and employing a supply boost capacitor to saturate the power switch. Full cycle-by-cycle short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown are provided. Applications include portable computers, battery-powered systems, battery chargers, and distributed power.
