Product Overview
ADP166AUJZ-1.8-R7 is a very low quiescent current, low dropout (LDO), linear regulator that operates from 2.2V to 5.5V and provides up to 150mA of output current. The low 120mV dropout voltage at a 150mA load improves efficiency and allows operation over a wide input voltage range. The ADP166 are specifically designed for stable operation with tiny 1µF ±30% ceramic input and output capacitors to meet the requirements of high-performance, space-constrained applications. Short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse conditions. Applications include portable and battery-powered equipment, post dc-to-dc regulation, portable medical devices, wireless sensor network (WSN) devices.

- Dropout voltage is 45mV typical at (OUT = 10mA, TA = 25°C)
- Output noise is 105µV rms typical at (10Hz to 100KHz, VIN = 5V, VOUT = 3.3V)
- 1.8V output voltage, start-up time is 1100µs typ at (VOUT = 3.3V, TA = 25°C)
- Operating ambient temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 5-lead TSOT package
