Product Overview
AD7732 is a high precision, high throughput analogue front end ∑-Δ ADC. True 16bit p-p resolution is achievable with a total conversion time of 500μs (2KHz channel switching) making it ideally suitable for high resolution multiplexing applications. Typical applications include PLCs/DCS, multiplexing applications, process control and industrial instrumentation.
- Single-supply operation: 5V analogue supply and 3V or 5V digital supply
- High resolution ADC: 24bits no missing codes and ±0.0015% nonlinearity
- Optimized for fast channel switching: 18/16bit p-p resolution (21/19bits effective) at 500Hz/2KHz
- On-chip per channel system calibration
- 2 fully differential analogue inputs: Input ranges +5V, ±5V, +10V, ±10V and overvoltage tolerant
- Up to ±16.5V not affecting adjacent channel
- Up to ±50V absolute maximum
- 3-wire serial interface: SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™ and DSP compatible
- Schmitt trigger on logic inputs
- 28 lead TSSOP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C
