AD7172-2BRUZ

AD7172-2 is an intelligent, low noise, low power, multiplexed, Σ-Δ analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) with 2- or 4-channel (fully differential/single-ended) inputs for low bandwidth signals. The AD7172-2 has a maximum channel scan rate of 6.21KSPS (161µs) for fully settled data. Typical application includes process control: PLC/DCS modules, temperature and pressure measurement, medical and scientific multichannel instrumentation and chromatography.

• Fast and flexible output rate: 1.25SPS to 31.25KSPS
• Specifications: 17.2 noise free bits at 31.25KSPS, 24 noise free bits at 5SPS and INL: ±2ppm of FSR
• 85dB rejection of 50Hz and 60Hz with 50ms settling and on-chip 2.5V reference (±2ppm/°C drift)
• User configurable input ch, 2 fully differential ch or 4 single-ended ch and crosspoint multiplexer
• Supply: AVDD1=3 to 5.5V, AVDD2=IOVDD=2 to 5.5V and split supply w/ AVDD1 and AVSS at ±2.5 or ±1.65V
• True rail-to-rail analogue and reference input buffers
• Internal or external clock
• 3- or 4-wire serial digital interface (Schmitt trigger on SCLK) SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, DSP compatible
• 24 lead TSSOP package
• Operating temperature range from -40 to 105°C
