Product Overview
AD5694R is a low-power, quad, 12bit, buffered voltage output nanoDAC+ with 2ppm/°C reference and I2C interface. It also incorporates a power-on reset circuit and an RSTSEL pin that ensures that the DAC outputs power up to zero scale or midscale and remain there until a valid write takes place. Each part contains a per-channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 4µA at 3V while in power-down mode. Typical applications are optical transceivers, base-station power amplifiers, process control (PLC I/O cards), industrial automation, data acquisition systems.
- Total unadjusted error (TUE) is ±0.1% of FSR maximum
- High drive capability is 20mA, 0.5V from supply rails
- User selectable gain of 1 or 2 (GAIN pin), reset to zero scale or midscale (RSTSEL pin)
- 1.8V logic compatibility, low glitch is 0.5nV-sec
- 400KHz I2C-compatible serial interface, low power is 3.3mW at 3V
- Relative accuracy is ±0.12LSB typical (VDD=2.7V to 5.5V; 1.62V ≤ VLOGIC ≤ 5.5V)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±1LSB maximum (guaranteed monotonic by design)
- Offset error drift is ±1μV/°C typ (VDD=2.7V to 5.5V; 1.62V ≤ VLOGIC ≤ 5.5V)
- 16-lead TSSOP package
- Temperature rating range from -40°C to +105°C
