N1915A-AU is a peak power meter test adaptor. It is an instrument specifically designed to test peak power meters. It is capable of applying voltages, presented at its input, to expect from a peak power sensor. The use of the PPMTA is a convenient as it allows rudimentary checks of the signal path to be carried out as if the input signal was RF power because the meter treats it as if it were a sensor and scales any input voltage to Watts or dBm.
