Product Overview
The LP5912-1.8DRVT is a 500mA ultra low noise LDO6 pin WSON package. This LDO is designed to meet the requirements of RF and analogue circuits, it provides low noise, high PSRR, low quiescent current and low line and load transient response. It offers class leading noise performance without a noise bypass capacitor and with the ability for remote output capacitance placement. This device is designed to work with a 1µF input and a 1µF output ceramic capacitor (no separate noise bypass capacitor required). It is used in camera modules, sensors, Hi-Fi audio radio transceivers, PLL/synthesizer, clocking and medium current, noise sensitive applications.
- Input voltage range from 1.6V to 6.5V
- Nominal output voltage of 1.8V, output voltage tolerance (VOUT >= 3.3 V) is ±2%
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Typical low output voltage noise of 12µVRMS, typical PSRR at 1KHz is 75dB
- Low IQ (enabled, no load) of 30µA (typ), low dropout (VOUT >= 3.3 V) of 95mV typical at 500mA load
- Thermal overload and short circuit protection
- Reverse current protection, no noise bypass capacitor required
- Output automatic discharge for fast turnoff
- Power good output with 140µs typical delay
- Internal soft start to limit the in rush current
