The LP2985AIM5-1.5/NOPB is a single channel low dropout (LDO) regulator with fixed output in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This micro-power regulator is designed to provide high performance and low noise in applications requiring output voltages less than or equal to 2V. Using an optimized VIP (vertically integrated PNP) process, the LP2985 delivers unequalled performance in all specifications critical to battery powered designs. The device is stable with output capacitor ESR as low as 5mohm which allows the use of ceramic capacitors on output and enhances stability. Output noise can be reduced to 30µV (typical) by adding a 10nF bypass capacitor.
- Fixed output voltage of 1.5V
- Output current of 150mA
- Wide supply voltage range from 2.2V to 16V
- Dropout voltage of 280mV at 150mA load current
- Less than 1µA quiescent current during shut down mode
- Ground pin current is typically 825µA at 150mA load and 75µA at 1mA load
- Output voltage accuracy of 1%
- Requires minimum external components
- High peak current capability, overtemperature and overcurrent protection
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
