Product Overview
NCV51752 is an isolated single-channel gate driver with 4.5A/9A source and sink peak current respectively. It is designed for fast switching to drive power MOSFETs and SiC MOSFET power switches. It offers short and matched propagation delays. For improved reliability, dV/dt immunity and even faster turn-off, the NCV51752 can utilize to generate a negative bias rail. It offers other important protection function such as independent under-voltage lockout for both-side driver. Applications include on-board chargers, xEV DC-DC converters, traction inverters, charging stations.
- VCC UVLO referenced to GND2, built-in negative bias between GND2 and VEE pins
- 3V to 20V input supply voltage, negative 5V handling capability on input pins
- 3.75kVRMS isolation for 1minute (per UL1577 requirements)
- VDD quiescent current is 175µA typ at (VIN+= VIN- = 0V, VDD = 5V)
- 36ns typ turn-on propagation delay from IN to OUT at (CLOAD = 0 nF)
- 5ns max pulse width distortion AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive application
- 12ns turn-on rise time typ at (CLOAD = 1.8nF)
- 125kohm typ logic input pull-up/down resistance
- Ambient temperature range from -40 to +125°C
