Product Overview
The P6KE18CA from Multicomp Pro is a P6KE series bidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-15 package. It has low leakage current, excellent clamping capability and low zener impedance. The device exceeds environmental standards of MIL-STD-19500. The leads are pure tin plated and solderable per MIL-STD-202, method 208.
- UL94-V0 rated moulded plastic case
- Minimum peak power dissipation of 600W at TA = 25°C, TP = 1ms and nominal voltage of 18V
- Peak forward surge current of 100A (8.3ms single half sine wave super imposed on rated load
- Steady state power dissipation (PM(AV)) of 5W at TL = 75°C
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +150°C
- Reverse stand-off voltage (VR) of 15.3V and maximum reverse leakage current (IR) of 5?A
- Breakdown voltage (VBR) of 17.1V (minimum), 18.9V (maximum) and test current ( IT) of 1mA
- 25.2V maximum clamping voltage (Vc) and 24A maximum peak pulse (Ipp) current
- Less than 5ns fast response time from 0V to VBR and 0.088mV/°C maximum voltage temperature variation
