Product Overview

The XAL4020-222MEC is a surface mount high current shielded Power Inductor with composite core and tin-silver (96.5/3.5) over copper terminations. Resistance to soldering heat maximum three 40 seconds reflows at +260°C, parts cooled to room temperature between cycles. This inductor features moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, failures in time (FIT)/mean time between failures (MTBF) is 38 per billion hours/26,315,789 hours, calculated per Telcordia SR-332 and tested to MIL-STD-202 method 215 plus an additional aqueous wash. The DC current at 25°C causes an inductance drop of 30% typical from its value without current and Inductance tested at 100kHz, 0.1Vrms, 0Adc.
